With Azure Reservations and Server Subscriptions (Windows Server and SQL Server Subscriptions), CSP partners can more effectively address rapidly growing customer demand to provide a more cost-effective and resilient solution for highly predictable cloud workloads.

You can now acquire, provision, and manage Azure reservations and server subscriptions on behalf of commercial customers through Partner Center and the Azure portal using the Azure Hybrid Benefit.

The Azure Hybrid Benefit helps you get additional value from your Windows Server licenses and save up to 40 percent on virtual machines. This benefit can be used with Windows Server Datacenter and Standard Edition licenses enrolled in Software Assurance. Depending on the edition, you can convert or reuse licenses to run Windows Server VMs in Azure and pay a lower base compute rate (like Linux VM rates).
